The High EKS Footwell Module (FRM) is the higher-hardware-spec body control unit used in 2007–2015 Mini Coopers equipped with advanced options like Xenon headlights, front fog lights, or adaptive lighting. 

​Unlike the basic Low EKS module, it contains the physical internal circuitry and driver outputs required to run these higher-tier lighting systems. If replaced with a Low EKS module, functions like high beams or fog lights will fail regardless of coding, so replacements must match the original module spec and be programmed to the car's VIN.
